Security inFort McMurray.
Fort McMurray — the heart of the Athabasca oilsands — demands specialized industrial security. Alberta Security Services deploys certified officers to sites, camps, and the urban service centre.
Fort McMurray security operations centre on oilsands mine gatehouse work, remote camp security, contractor sign-in, environmental protest management, and downtown Wood Buffalo urban security. Our Fort McMurray-deployed officers hold H2S Alive, CSTS-2020, and CSO certifications and are versed in Suncor, Syncrude, CNRL, Imperial, and MEG-region site protocols.

Who we protect here.
Local questions, answered.
Do you service oilsands mine gates directly?
Yes — mine gatehouse operations at major oilsands sites are one of our largest deployments.
Are your officers H2S Alive and CSTS certified?
Every Fort McMurray-deployed officer holds current H2S Alive, CSTS-2020, First Aid, and site-specific orientations.
Can you provide remote-camp self-sufficient teams?
Absolutely — we deploy self-contained crews with camp allowance to remote Wood Buffalo sites.
